Chequamegon Bay from the City of Washburn. Camped at Thompson Park West in Washburn. Arrived here on Wed August 20th. I was here about a month and a half ago.

Watched the Packer / Raider game at Patsy's Pub & Grill in Washburn. Great bar, lots of TV'S and good food.
Checked out of the campground on Sat. A wet cloudy week.
Young Ben visiting his grandparents on Amik Lake caught this monster 25" catfish off the dock. Ben, being a true sports-man
released the fish back to the lake.
On Thursday August 14th camp was set up at Laurel Lake campground. Laurel Lake is in the Three Lakes Chain south of Eagle River. Only four sites in this portion of the campground.
Friday was Angel's birthday, her and Raider stopped long enough for a Birthday Picture.
Thursday night dinner with the Wood Family from Three Lakes Chain. Dinner at the Pine Isle Bar on Medicine Lake. Friday afternoon Buff and Nancy stopped by to check out my camper. Thanks for stopping folks.
Saturady afternoon we watched the Packer vs Rams game at Bill and Barbs then moved onto "Lumpy's" bar and grill just south of Eagle River on Hwy 45. Super bar for watching Packer games, one really big TV along with many others, I love that bar.
Headed home on Sunday afternoon. Great camping week-end.
My long time friend Virgil arrived at Amiklodge on Monday afternoon August 11 on his BMW motorcycle. He started out a week ago from his home near Hartland, WI traveling to Virginia. He took the ferry across Lake Michigan and on to Amiklodge.
Tuesday morning Virgil left heading back home. Virgil and his wife Linda travel extensively with there 5th wheel toy hauler camper and two BMW motorcycles throughout the U.S. I had a great trip with them 10 years traveling throughout Alaska. It was a great visit. Drive safely Virgil.
Tuesday Aug 5 off to NW Wisconsin near Minong at the Totogatic Park Campground, on the Minong Flowage. The campground is a Washburn County Park.
Left Totogatic on Friday morning and moved on to Clam Lake, set up at Day's Lake Campground.
On Sat afternoon i packed up and headed home. Planning my next trip.
