On Sunday morning July 28 Raider (Head of Security at Amiklodge) had a confrontation with a young Sand Hill Crane. The Crane's Dad and Mom stayed in the background making a lot of commotion but the young crane stood his ground with Raider. He walked off into the woods after, but Raider left him alone.

On Tues July 9 prep work started for new concrete approach. Concrete pour scheduled for Thursday July 11

Raider and I attended my Grand-daughter Sydnee's High School graduation party in River Falls on Saturday June 29.
A small cub bear has been making a pest of himself around the Amikville neighborhood. Here he his up in a dead hemlock tree at Amiklodge.
