3rd Annual Pheasant Hunt to South Dakota

 Our accommodations near Mitchell, South Dakota. One of the better spots in the area. We could hunt right out the front door. Bob had a upper room on the right.

Bob found a good high pheasant stand, on the phone checking in with the wife while Jeff and I hunted   around Bob and drove the pheasants to him. At the end of the 2nd day the pheasants were leading.

Annual Fall Camping / Hunting Trip in the Chequamegon

The Fourth Annual fall camping / hunting trip to the Chequamegon Nat'l Forest. Campers Dan, Jon, Patrick and Chad had a  few guests in camp on Wed for a late afternoon cocktail party.

Super Packer Party at Amiklodge - Packers over the Lions

Pork roast cooked by Famous cook Drunken Gourmet, Camperman Dan. Super sandwiches Camperman. Finally a Packer victory over the Detroit Lions. I needed this win for Amiklodge otherwise these folks were going to call my place "Loser Lodge" after two loses.

Fall Grouse Hunt in the Chequamegon Near Clam Lake

 Great fall colors

 Raider and I got a nice grouse Wed am first hunt of the day. Wouldn't have got him without Raider. Raider flushed him, shot twice, thought I missed him so I continued walking on, a minute later came up to me with the grouse. It doesn't get any better than that folks.

My new grouse spot the "Ding Dong Area". Can't tell you where this is. Leaving East Twin Lake campground this morning. The Federal Government kicked me out, closing all federal parks around the country. Off to Lake of the Falls, till later

Tree Cutting Time at Amiklodge
