Monday morning Nov 30. Lake has been rising the past few days after some heavy rain. Thanksgiving day this picnic table was high and dry.

Texas Bound

Nov 11 Wed I left the Pike Chain, heading for Texas. First stop near West Bend, Wis at son Dan's

 Arrived Dan's Wed night. Set-up RV in his drive. Cold and windy here today (Friday). Wasted Sunday watching the Packer game. Left Dan's on Monday morning, overnight in Grinnell, Iowa. Tuesday night in South Haven, KS on the Oklahoma border.

Made it to Big Chief RV park on Wed night. Got set up on Thursday morning

Friday Oct 30 - Turner Lake Rd maintenance, pothole filling

2015 Fall Camping/Hunting trip

 The boys are back for there 6th annual fall camping/hunting trip to the north woods.

 A beautiful day for grouse hunting, bagged 2 grouse and 2 woodcock

Wednesday night dinner, a 10 lb pork butt cooking in the La Caja China. Thursday night prime rib on the menu

Friday night appetizers was grouse and woodcock wrapped in bacon cooked on the open fire

 The Friday night main course was the old original boy scout dinner, hamburger patty with carrots, potato's, onion and mushroom wrapped in aluminum foil.

 Saturday morning was tear down camp and get loaded for the trip home.

Camp is  cleaned up and ready for next year. So long from the Wisconsin Northwoods. A great trip.

Packers vs 49rs Party

Found some really nice Packer fans on my return trip from Denver

We had a great time and  a shooter after each touchdown. The final score photo I can't show, they said for "My Eyes Only" sorry. Pack won 17 to 3. Can't wait for the next game.

Met these wonderful ladies at Moose Jaw on Sunday for drinks and snacks. Plans are being made for me to take them to a Packer game next fall.
